milestone project

objectified response I remember having a difficult time with figuring out how to use this program. I had decided to go with a simple design so I could figure out the basics and not to overwhelm myself. looking back, I defiantly feel like I could do something better now.  mesh mashup for this project, i really wanted to experiment with how well i could tell a story with 3d objects, as i had never done that before. these were some of my favourite designs, and i ended up going with the turtle because my group and i thought it was the most successful. looking back, i do think this was the one to go with because it had a lot of potential. 3D PRINTED HOLLOW FORM OBJECT: THE HYBRID

group: Sara A, Hark, Kalem mine, and Harks 6 designs.  Sketches done by me and Kalem. this was the first concept we started with. we decided to move the bottom tubes to the side so the printing process would be easier. we decided to go with a more complicated design as we thought out previous ideas were too simple. we wanted to duplicate shapes and use the tube design from our previous idea. this was the final design we decided to go with. since we were a group of 3, it was challenging to pick 3 designs to merge. we decided to pick two of the designs we all sketched or created. the tubes were taken from one of Kalem's sketches, and we decide to make it a handle rather than a base. the heart is a duplicate of one of Hark's objects.
