PAPERCRAFT OBJECTS: FIRST PROTOTYPE

 

I think my prototype had too many folds, which made trying to fold the object into how its supposed to look difficult. when I remake this, instead of printing out one shape 6 times, I'm going to create three shapes: the top triangle, the base shape, and the bottom base and glue them together once each part is assembled. sticking to this method instead of trying to shape one flat into a lantern might help with creating a stronger and more firm design. I want to change the template because I realized that trying to fold one object too many times makes the paper hard to work with, and it didn't stay true to the original design.
