Remix culture:

In my understanding, Remix culture is using previous forms and pieces of art to create something new. remix culture is not limited to traditional and 2d art, but applies to all forms of art such as music and films. remix culture can help with creating new ideas, and to see previous art from a new and innovative point of view.

 race mouse:

with this piece I wanted to create a cute video game-like model. I decided to go with a racing game, and chose a mouse to be a player model.

Hand face:

with this piece , I wanted to juxtapose two objects. I wanted to give an eerie feeling to the figure, which by itself looks serene. I did this by placing a hand out where a head would be.

similarly to the hand face piece, I wanted to juxtapose between two themes, life and death. I used the model of Sappho's head to express life, and the merged skulls for death.

With this piece, I want to include traditional and modern elements to create a new object. this is supposed to represent the shoes of the Greek god Hermes, who has wings on his shoes to help him travel quickly.
